Sweet Samantha

This is Samantha. The colors of the leaves had already faded when this pic was taken so I reluctantly "aged" & faded the photo. I actually LOVE the effect...the finished page is a fav of mine.

This is one of Samantha's Canadian Baby Photographers pics...my favorite of course. What a precious little baby girl I was blessed with...so BEAUTIFUL!

This page was actually designed without specific pics in mind. I just loved the sherbert colors. Sammie's pics ended up being a good "fit" for the page. Now this page I'm still not sure about. Something just doesn't seem right about is. Maybe I need a better pic of Sam's baby face.

Time Well Wasted

So...I spent my weekend at my computer finding a TON of digital scrapbooking stuff. I finally got around to actually making some pages...here are the results.

This is David when he was just a couple of weeks old. The 3rd pic on this page is the one we sent into the newspaper for his birth announcement.

The next 2 pages where designed BEFORE I pulled the pics for them. I usually design a page around the pics, but sometimes designing with a matched set can inspire you to edit your photos in new ways. I really like the color editing I did with these ones.

This is Will again. I've used the same 3 pics as his other page in a previous blog. It's amazing how many different looks you can make using the same photos. Sidenote: This set is called William :-)

Some Friends

This is Salinna. We became friends when I was about 14. I later found out that she's my 3rd cousin (or something like that...LOL!)

This is Mandy & Salinna. Mandy & I became friends in elementary school.
This is Amanda. She went to the same private school & church as I did growing up. When I was 12 years old, my family moved to the same neighborhood as her family. She's been dancing since she was about 3 years old...she's amazing.

Christmas Mantle

From this...
...to this!

Evey item you see in this page is from Scrapblog.com..not a single piece is from me. Just goes to show how many different ideas you can create with Scrapblg.com.

IT'S SO MUCH FUN!

Here's What I Have So Far

So...this is me. I put this one together real quick one day because I couldn't decide which picture I wanted to put on my Facebook profile...so I came up with this. I'm not one to enjoy being in front of the camera, but these pics I like.

This is my husband & I. We were headed out to a friend's wedding & I thought we both looked so nice (doesn't happen very often...lol) that I just had to get our picture taken.

This is our Samantha...our lil' princess. She loves EVERYTHING sweet & feminine. Her bedrooms so far have been 1) Precious Moments, 2) Princess with a huge wallpaper castle & 3) Purple with butterflies EVERYWHERE (purple is her favorite color). She has an amazing "zest for life"...she LOVES to learn & is always asking "what does this mean" or "why does it work that way". It's never boring when Sam's around. This pic was taken when she was 1 1/2 years old.

This our son David when he was about 1 1/2 years old. He's my cuddler...I can ALWAYS count on AT LEAST 10 hugs & 20 kisses a day from this one. He's also the quiet one...I constantly have to remind him to "speak so I can hear you" even though he's sitting only 5 feet away (unless Sam's buggin' him)...LOL. Gotta luv 'im!

This is Bernie...our silly pup. He's gotten alot older since these pics were taken...he's almost 10 years old now. He doesn't run around like a crazed animal anymore & when it's cold out he gets a lil' stiff in the joints, but we luv 'im anyway...EVERYONE loves him!

This is my mother. She's an inspiration. She's been through so much, yet she has never lost her faith. I hope I can be even 1/2 the mother she is.

This is my Nana (aka Nana-banana)...my mom's mom. One Christmas I gave her a cross-stitch with the phrase "Nana Means Love" on it...she LOVED it (still points it out each time I visit). One couldn't ask for a better grandma...luv ya nana!

This is Pat...Steve's lil' bother. He's so much fun to be around...now that he's not living with us anymore...LOL! He's gettin' married next February...Valentine's Day to be exact...so romantic. This pic was taken at our wedding.

This crazy lookin' guy is Gabe...father of a friend who became a friend himself. He TRIES to act tough, but is really a big ol' teddybear.

This is Jo-Jo, daughter of our good friends Mike & Louise. Samantha regularly declares "Jo-Jo is my BEST friend". So here they are...the 2 lil' princesses. The 1st pic is from Sam's 7th B.day party & the second is from Easter 2008...they were both SOOO proud of their Easter dresses.
And this lil' guy is Will. He's Jo-Jo's brother. He LOVES to play video games...especially Mario Smash Bros.
